From CERAMICS 2020 becomes CERAMICS 2021

Dear members and friends of the DKG, dear colleagues,
Chers amis de la céramique, Beste vrienden van keramiek,

due to the uncertainty with regard to the corona pandemic the DKG decided in agreement with the host (Forschungszentrum Jülich) and the chairman of the program committee (Prof. Dr. Olivier Guillon) to delete the CERAMICS 2020. The program committee will try to transfer the scheduled format concerning venue, program and procedure to the CERAMICS 2021.

Our offer to all submitters and participants of KERAMIK 2020

The CERAMICS 2021 will again being hosted by the Forschungszentrum Jülich. The program committee intends to remain all submitted and accepted lectures, posters and lectures for the Hans-Walter-Hennicke competition.

• Thus the Program committee offers to remain registered for the CERAMICS 2021 for those who have already paid participation fee. In this case you don’t have to do anything.
   
• In case you have to reject this offer we kindly ask you to reply as soon as possible to congress@dkg.de with the subject „Cancellation CERAMICS 2020“.
  Please provide the following information: your complete name, ID of your presentation and the number of your invoice.
  Following to your cancellation reimbursements will be made to the account of the depositor.
   

What happens next?

• As of 09/2020 you will find all information on the CERAMICS 2020 / 96^th Annual Meeting of the DKG under www.2021.dkg.de
   
• Obviously all interested persons can register for the CERAMICS 2021 and submit lectures, posters and presentations for the Hans-Walter-Hennicke competion under www.2021.dkg.de
   

All decision-making parties regret the necessity to cancel the CERAMICS 2020 but they are looking forward to your participation in the CERAMICS 2021 and hopefully again to many numerous personal meetings.
